We would like to alert and apologize for a mistake in  our current Holiday/Winter Issue. In the Gifts from the Hearth we featured a recipe: Texas Ranger Nine Bean Soup Mix in a jar. This was a revised recipe from it's original version and the original recipe calls for Barley Pearls. The edited version did not make it in our issue, and we would like to alert our readers to omit the barley pearls from this recipe to make it gluten free. And as with any recipe, you should always double check ingredients and the ingredient labels of packages boughten for recipes.
